About Our Chapter

About Alpha Kappa Psi
Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest co-ed professional business fraternity in the country. With its core values of Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service, and Unity, it is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders.
It was founded on October 5, 1904 at New York University, and was incorporated on May 20, 1905. Currently, it is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Chapters of Alpha Kappa Psi can be found across the nation, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Since the fraternity’s founding, 322 chapters have been chartered. Presently, 218 chapters are active, and several colonies have been created in various schools. Furthermore, there are 24 active alumni chapters.
About the Nu Chapter
The Nu Chapter was originally founded on April 29, 1916, and re-chartered on October 27, 2007. Through guest speakers from every industry, professional workshops, internships offered exclusively to brothers, community service projects, and social events, AKPsi improves every brother’s BU experience and beyond.
We welcome all BU undergraduate students to come learn more about our fraternity. Not only does our chapter accept both males and females, but we invite students from all BU colleges- even outside the School of Management- to participate in our rush events. This is because we recognize that an appreciation and passion for business transcends such categorization.
“It’s always difficult to find your fit into a large university. With Alpha Kappa Psi, you find a place where its business contacts are more than business professors, its members can be your family members, and its passion for business can make you a success in business.” - Tina Yip, Delta class
